Robot

So when the little one (shes’s currently 5yrs old) says she wants a robot, there are two ways to go about this,

1: spend a small fortune on something that will probably end up in a drawer as soon as the novelty wears off or

2: build a robot and teach some valuable skills as well as an appreciation for the robot that can constantly be evolved to do what ever we want.

So we went for option 2.

Built with Arduino and uses Bluetooth, Photo resistors, Infra red receiver and ultrasonic sensors, the possibilities are endless hours of fun with very easy coding with either Arduino or block coding with Mixly.

If you find yourself buying one of these kits,I’ve uploaded the program and tutorial files here, https://github.com/stevecrow74/mini-tank-robot-v2

So we went for option 2.
That smile says it all.
Guess who?
You Guessed it!
Wall-E

So that was the first robot, we ended up making a second robot that crawls along, someday we are going to update the computer inside it, and when we do I’ll do a full report on here.
